Overview
It is convenient and efficient for instructors to reuse generic videos created by Panopto on Canvas from a quarter to another quarter with different groups of students. We will show you a simple way in this instruction.
Retrieve the Generic Video
Navigate to the course where has the generic video you want to reuse.
Open Panopto Video from the course navigation bar. Click here if you want to learn how to integrate Panopto Video to the course navigation.
Find the video and remember the folder's name.
Create a Placeholder for the Video in another Course
Open the destination course.
Create a page as a placeholder for the generic video by clicking
and choose Panopto Video.
Search the video's folder name in the box.
Select the video you want to reuse.
Click insert and save.
