Imagine Student

Imagine is a program set up by Microsoft to provide students with software design and development tools at no charge. Engineering or Computer Science students can get access to more software with Imagine Premium

Access Imagine for Students

Students wishing to download programs such as Visual Studio as well as variety of other Microsoft Products made available through Imagine, must go www.imagine.microsoft.com

1. Navigate to www.imagine.microsoft.com.

   1. If you have an existing Microsoft account (apart from your SPU account) select Sign In to link it to Imagine

   2. If you do not have an existing Microsoft account (apart from your SPU account) select Create Account 

      1. Click Continue on the box that appears

      2. From the Microsoft login page, select Sign up now

      3. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a Microsoft account in order to link it to Imagine

2. After signing in or creating a Microsoft account, a Imagine verification page should appear

3. From the Imagine verification page, check that the account information is accurate and select continue to verify

4. Select I have a school email account, enter your SPU email and select Verify

   1. Open your SPU email and follow the instructions in the verification email

5. After verifying your school email account, navigate to the software catalog tab to download software
