CIS provides basic maintenance support for SPU conference rooms and similar spaces with audio-visual technology. CIS also provides consulting and pricing services for new audio-visual installations for Conference Rooms or other non-General Use Classroom locations throughout campus.
Conference Room Maintenance
To request maintenance, contact the CIS Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or extension 206-281-2982.
CIS provides the following services for conference rooms:
Basic Equipment troubleshooting.
Limited Event and setup support (see out AV Event Support page for event and setup guidelines).
The following is not directly provided by CIS:
Equipment purchase or repair.
Consumables (projector bulbs).
If CIS determines that there is faulty equipment in a conference room, a staff representative from CIS will work with the specific department on repair or replacement options, using an audio-visual vendor.
Conference Room Repairs and New Installations
For repairs and new installations, contact the CIS Help Desk at email@example.com or 206-281-2982. A staff member will work with the department contact to look at the needs and uses of the conference room and provide one or more options that will fit the needs. The staff member will work with CIS-approved audio-visual members to provide quotes for the repair or new installation.
