Classroom Technology

If you have a Classroom Emergency, please call IT Support at 206-281-2982 and we will dispatch a Technician during our office hours M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM. Additionally, you can submit a Classroom Emergency ticket here.

Overview

The SPU IT Department maintains technology-enriched classrooms with a laser projector, and in most cases, a laptop input, a desktop or podium PC, and a document camera.  Within our classroom spaces across campus, there is a variety of technological configurations and tools available for teaching. Information about our classrooms may be found online by going to SPU Room Finder and clicking on Browse → Location. There users may browse through a list of buildings and rooms, view the building location, classroom image, seating chart, and available features and equipment in the room.

If you need to play a DVD and the room, you're teaching in does not have a way to play the DVD through the computer, you may check out a DVD to USB drive from the library. DH150 has a Blu-ray Player, but if checkout from the library doesn't work for you and you need something more permanent, please reach out to IT Support at 206-281-2982.
