On-campus

In the event of an emergency on campus, you should always attempt to dial (206) 281-2911 first to connect to the Office of Safety and Security's (OSS) emergency line. After which you may dial 911. This is to ensure that OSS can react as quickly as possible to any emergency and provide assistance.

Off-campus

For emergencies occurring off campus, please dial 911 from a personal number like your cell phone or a home phone. If you dial 911 through Teams, your call will be directed to a Seattle 911 center regardless of your current location. If you are unable to call from another number you can still dial 911 from Teams. However, you will need to provide your current location so your call can be transferred to the correct 911 center, which will increase the emergency response time.
