OneDrive for Business - Web

Utilizing the web version of OneDrive will insure that you are able to access your files and folders on any computer with internet access.

Instructions

  1. Double-click the OneDrive - Web icon that is on the desktop. If there is no OneDrive - Web icon, please proceed to step 1a. Otherwise, proceed to step 2.

1a. Head to SPU Online Services and click the Faculty & Staff tab

1b. Scroll down to the Information section of the webpage, and click OneDrive for Business

  1. Log in using your SPU account

  1. In the left-hand pane, click My files >> All your files and folders synced with OneDrive will show here

  1. To open your file with the desktop application, click the three dots next to the file >> Hover over Open >> Click Open in app

  1. If you’re prompted to open the application by the browser, select Open App. This can be bypassed by checking the Always allow option, and you will not be prompted the next time you do this

The Always allow option will need to be done per application (once for Excel, once for Word, etc.)

  1. Sign in to OneDrive with your SPU credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Storage section on the bottom left column > click on the storage usage.
