Find a MAC address Apple PC

If you are having network connection issues, CIS may ask you for the MAC address of your device to help troubleshoot the issue.

  1. Click on the Apple Logo in the upper left hand corner. 
  2. Select System Preferences 
  3. Select Network. 
  4. Select the appropriate connection type (WiFi or Ethernet) and click on Advanced
  5. Select the Hardware tab. 
  6. Your device’s MAC address is listed next to MAC Address

MAC addresses are unique identifiers for a network interface. They will be different for wireless or wired interfaces on any device, including gaming devices
