Manually Add SecurePrint on Windows 11 Device

If users are looking to print from their Windows 11 device, the print queue will need to be manually added. Attempting to connect to the printer via File Explorer, or other means other than what is documented below, will not work as of writing this article.

 

  1. In the search bar, type Printers & scanners and open the system settings option

  1. Click Add device

  1. After a few seconds, click the option to Search for devices

 

  1. Click the dropdown menu and select Work or school. Find the SecurePrint option and click Add device.

 

  1. Print a test document when the device changes from the Connecting status to Ready
