Forward your SPU Email

Overview


Setting up email forwarding automatically sends all incoming messages to a non-SPU email address of your choosing. Once set up, forwarding will run automatically whether or not you log in to your SPU email account. Please note that this feature is not allowed for current faculty and staff.

It is highly recommended that you carefully test any changes you have made to email forwarding to verify that:

  1. You have provided the correct email address, and

  2. Your email provider is not blocking the forwarded email or tagging it as spam or junk mail

The simplest way to test is to send multiple emails to your SPU account to confirm that they are being routed properly.

Forward Your SPU Email

  1. Log into Banner with your SPU username and password

    1. If you need to retrieve your SPU username or reset your password, please navigate to spu.edu/findmyid.

  2. Click on the Personal Menu

  3. Click on the Computer Accounts Menu

  4. Select Forward Your Email

  5. Enter the desired email address and click Forward

Unforward Your SPU Email

  1. Log into Banner with your SPU username and password

  2. Click on the Personal Menu

  3. Click on the Computer Accounts Menu

  4. Select Unforward Your Email

  5. This action completes the process of unforwarding your email
