As of February 2025, during your scheduled SPU computer upgrade/institution separation, you will no longer have the option to purchase your used device as a personal computer. - Updated 02/11/2025

Equipment Purchase Prices*

All prices are dependent on equipment being available.

 

Laptops

13" Windows Standard Laptop - 4+ years old

  • $250.00

13" Standard Macbook Air Laptop - 6+ years old 

  • $250.00

Computers will come with the original version of the operating system that was installed when purchased from the vendor. 

Monitor, docking station and other peripherals are not included or available for purchase.

 

Desktops

Windows Standard Desktop - 5+ years old

  • $150.00

Standard Mac OS Desktop (mini) - 6+ years old

  • $150.00

Computers will come withe the original version of the operating system that was installed when purchased from the vendor.

Monitor, hubs, cables and other peripherals are not included or available for purchase.

*This pricing reflects the standard SPU configuration for laptops and desktops. Custom laptops (e.g. High-performance/ultraportable Macs, high performance Windows devices, tablets, etc.) may be priced differently. Contact help@spu.edu with questions.

How to Purchase Your Used SPU Computer

  1. Make a HelpDesk Ticket.

  2. Bring device and appropriate power cables.

  3. A HelpDesk technician will prepare your computer for personal use. 

  4. When the computer is ready, the technician will schedule a pick-up time.

  5. At the scheduled time, please bring cash or check to pay for the device at its listed sale price.

    1. Please make out all checks to Seattle Pacific University.

  6. The technician will also have you fill out and sign an SPU Transfer of Equipment Form. 

 

How to Purchase Other Used Equipment (Projectors)

When you come to the CIS Help Desk to pick up your projector, also bring the following:

  1. Make a HelpDesk Ticket.

  2. When the device is ready, the technician will schedule a pick-up time.

  3. At the scheduled time, please bring cash or check to pay for the device at its listed sale price.

    1. Please make out all checks to Seattle Pacific University.

  4. The technician will also have you fill out and sign an SPU Transfer of Equipment Form.
