If you do not have the ability to log into an SPU-managed computer, receive an error message, or need additional permissions for elevated tasks, follow the steps below.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Send an e-mail to help@spu.edu and include the following information:
    1. Name(s) of computer(s)
      1. This can be found on the red login screen at the bottom
      2. It can also be found in the start menu, it is the word in all caps in the right-hand column
    2. Username(s) that will need to access
    3. Room Location


Many permissions, including logging into an office computer, are managed automatically based on employment information in the Banner Info System. Some are managed by a delegate in a specific department. If you have already verified your employment information and contacted the specific delegate for permissions and continue to have difficulties accessing resources or logging into computers, contact the CIS HelpDesk.
