Personal Information Updates
To request an update to your personal information:Â
- Log in to the Banner Student System
- You will need your SPU username and password to log in
- Enter your SPU username with @spu.edu at the end (USERNAME@spu.edu) and your password
If you do not know your SPU credentials, please go to www.spu.edu/findmyid/ and select ‘Recover Username’. An email will then be generated and sent to you with your username and a link to reset your password. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.
NOTE: It can take 5-10 minutes for your new password to become active, so you need to wait before trying to log on.
Once logged into Banner,
- To update Address, Email, or Phone:
- Click on the Personal Menu
- Click on the Personal Information Menu
- Click on the profile information you would like to update
- Update the information and click Submit
- To update Name or Birthday,
- Click on the Personal Menu
- Click on the Personal Information Menu
- Click on the Change of Directory Information Form.
- Complete the form and upload the required documentation. Acceptable documents include:
- Court order document
- Driver’s license
- Marriage certificate or license
- Passport
- Social Security card
