MFP - Memory Busy Error

Sometimes, when faxing from an MFP a Memory Busy error message appears. If you are faxing to an off-campus number, you must insert a "1" between the required "9" to dial out, plus the full 10-digit number.

Steps

To send a fax from the MFP, use the following instructions:

  1. Log into the MFP
  2. Select the Fax Option (not all MFP's have faxing capabilities 
  3. Dial "9" + "1" + 10-digit phone number
  4. Press "Send"
