Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Outlook 2011 from Applications -> Microsoft Office 2011 -> Microsoft Outlook.
     
  2. When you open Outlook for the first time, click Outlook -> Preferences


  3. Select the icon for Accounts


  4. In the new window, choose Exchange Account


  5. Enter your information and click Add Account


  6. Enter your Full Name and email address, including the "@spu.edu" portion at the end. Make sure your settings match what is shown in the image below. Replace SPUUSERNAME with the username you use for Banner, Webmail, etc.


  7. Outlook 2011 is now configured for use on or off campus.

 

If ever prompted to log in, use your full email address and password.
