News and Updates
Apply to Graduate!
Students who are completing their degree in Winter 2025, Spring 2025, Summer 2025, and Autumn 2025 are eligible to participate in commencement June 2025.
An application to graduate is required to have your degree conferred. Applying to graduate is a separate process from signing up for commencement activities, and those who have applied to graduate will receive follow up communications from the Office of the Registrar around commencement activities. While participation in commencement activities (Hooding and Commencement) is optional, applying to graduate is required for the School of Education to award your degree.
Winter Quarter Registration Opens Monday, November 18th
Autumn Quarter 2024 is well underway! Registration for Winter Quarter opens Monday, November 18. Plan for registration in Banner using the Graduate Time Schedule (also referred to as the University Graduate Catalog). Additional registration information is available here.
Upcoming holidays and other important dates are available in the University Calendar.
Graduating Students: Review Your Degree Check!
Now is the time to have a look at your degree check in Banner to make sure you are on track to graduate in the term you selected. Please note that your degree audit is based off of the Catalog requirements for the program and term you were admitted. This may mean that there are some substitutions or equivalencies that need to be noted in order to complete your record.
Please look at your degree check and let Sarah Kirschner know of anything that looks amiss. She will work with each of you to ensure your degree check accurately reflects your progress and that you are on track to earn your degree.
