Print from an iOS Device (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch)
Use PaperCut's Web Print interface (print.spu.edu) to send your iOS device documents to the MFP.
Step-by-step guide
- Open up Safari or Google Chrome and navigate to print.spu.edu.
- Log in to Web Print using your SPU credentials.
- Tap on Web Print and then tap on Submit a Job.
- Tap print-serv-01\SecurePrint (virtual) if printing in black-and-white, or tap print-serv-01\SecurePrint - Color (virtual) if printing in color. Finally, tap Print Options and Account Selection.
- Type in the number of copies you would like to print by tapping on the text box, then tap Upload Documents. The print job can be charged to a shared account on this page if necessary.
- Tap Upload from computer and tap the More option that appears if our document is located somewhere not show (i.e., iCloud Drive).
- Tap the slider for the Locations that you would like to be able to print from. Available Locations are based on installed apps. Once your desired Locations are selected, tap Done.
- Tap on the Location that you would like to print a document from. In this example we will print a document from Dropbox.
- Tap the document that you would like to print. The document should now appear in the box above the Upload from computer button.
- Scroll down the page and tap the Upload & Complete button.
- The upload document will now be submitted to the printing service. Information related to the print job and its status is displayed.
