- Go to: Citrix Receiver Download Page
- Click the option to Download Receiver for Windows
- Tick the box and click Continue
- The Citrix receiver setup file will download. Open this file
- You may be prompted to accept changes to your computer, select Yes
- Setup will now begin, select Install and follow the on screen instructions to proceed.
- (Note: You may be prompted to restart your computer once setup has completed, so be sure to save any important documents before proceeding) - If you are prompted to "Add Account" or "Finish", select Finish

- Open Citrix Receiver
- You will be prompted to enter your work email or server address. In the text field, type in citrix.spu.edu and click Next
- You will be prompted to enter your credentials. In the Domain\User field, type in accounts\ followed by your SPU username. In the password field, type in your SPU password. Click Log On
- You will now be directed to your Citrix home page. To add applications to the home screen, click the "plus" icon on the left.
- Clicking on an application icon will pin it to your Citrix home screen
- Descriptions of application icons:
• Microsoft Office 20102013: Access to Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• My Work Documents: Within here are your files/folders from your SPU My Documents folder
• Departmental File Share: Access to Matthew and department files
• SPSS 18: Opens SPSS
• My Work Desktop: Allows to you remotely connect to your SPU computer. Enables you to control your SPU machine as if you were physically logged into it. You will need to know the name of your office computer. To find the computer name, look for the computer icon on your desktop. The name will be listed in parenthesis.
- (Note: your SPU machine must be powered on and connected to SPU's network for this function to work)
• INB: Opens INB
• EMS: Opens the EMS client
• Raisers Edge: Opens Raisers Edge
• Talisma: Opens the Talisma client - Once applications have been added to the Citrix home screen, applications can be opened by clicking on the respective icon
