    Just like a telephone directory (which typically stores names, phone numbers, and addresses) active directory stores information about organizations, users, sites, and any other network objects - and the attributes about those objects -  that an organization might wish to track.

     Banner is SPU's Enterprise Resource and Planning (ERP) system.  It has two access points: one is Self-Service Banner and the other is Administrative Banner.

    Management of Accounts and Resources System (MARS) is an internal system for managing accounts, resources, and permissions across many of SPU's core systems.

    Multi-Factor Authentication — Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security measure that requires a user to both know something (e.g.: a password) and have something (e.g.: a registered device) in order to login to a system. By authenticating their identity with multiple factors, their account is more secure against being compromised.

    Single Sign On SPU's Single Sign On (SSO) allows a user to access multiple secure systems via a single login on a device instead of needing respond to repeated requests for login credentials.
