DH356 Hybrid Instructions

Please follow this page for instructions on using the video and audio system for hybrid classes and recording content.

If you need assistance using this system, call the CIS HelpDesk at 206-281-2982 and we will dispatch a Technician right away. If you would like a room training, this can request through the same number or via a ticket submitted at http://spu.edu/cishelpdesk


Hybrid Features

  1. Plug in your laptop

    1. The laptop HDMI connection allows you to display content to the projector and turn on the system through auto-detection, and the black & red USB-C connection allows you to connect the microphone, speakers, camera, and doc cam to your device directly.

    2. For speaker output, select Shure 300 as your output audio.

  2. Turn and put on the lapel microphone

    1. The input levels can be seen on the belt pack to confirm that it is picking up your voice.

      1. Extra batteries can be found in the bin; otherwise, please call the CIS HelpDesk at (206) 281-2982.

THEN

  1. Open your prefered video-conferencing software and start your meeting

    1. Check that the Shure 300 is selected as your microphone and PTZ Averview is selected as your camera.

    2. Use the Averview remote to control the camera as needed. Please follow the diagram below:

  1. Launch Panopto for recording

    1. Follow the video here for recording instructions.

    2. Again, check that the Shure 300 is selected as your microphone and PTZ Averview is selected as your camera
