PollEverywhere Requirements

Overview

PollEverywhere is a great tool to use in the classroom as students are able to connect to it easily. There are some system requirements that need to be set up in order for PollEverywhere to be compatible with PCs and Macs. In this page, we will show what browsers best support PollEverywhere, which plug-ins are most needed, and basic integrations for proper functioning.

Supported Web Browsers

Below we have provided a list of browsers that work well with PollEverywhere: 

• Chrome 49 & later
• Internet Explorer 11.0 and later
• Safari 9.0 and later
• Firefox 45.0 and later

Plug-Ins

The PollEv Presenter Google Slides Extension can be used to integrate PollEverywhere questions into Google Slides presentations.

In order to access this you need to go to:

• Chrome Settings → Extensions → Search for the PollEv Presenter.

Basic Presenter & Audience Requirements: 

In this section of the page, we will list the basic integrations needed to make PollEverywhere function smoothly for both the presenter and the audience. 

If you are the Presenter, make sure you have: 

• Internet Access 
• Web browser or PollEv Presenter PowerPoint add-in

If you are the Audience, make sure you can access: 

• Web browser 
• Mobile Phone that is able to send texts or SMS.
