Allowing Elevated Access

If a user or group of users require access to a Faculty or Staff computer that they currently are unable to log in to, simply perform the following:If you do not have the ability to log into an SPU-managed Office Computer, receive an error message, or need additional permissions for elevated tasks, follow the steps below.

Steps

  1. Send an e-mail to help@spu.edu and make sure to include the following information:
    1. Name(s) of computer(s) that users will need access to
      1. This can be found on the red login screen at the bottom
      2. It can also be found in the start menu, it is the word in all caps in the right-hand column
    2. Username(s) that will need to access the computer Relevant details (such as error messages when a user tries to logon)
    3. Room Location
