Allowing Elevated Access
If a user or group of users require access to a Faculty or Staff computer that they currently are unable to log in to, simply perform the following:If you do not have the ability to log into an SPU-managed Office Computer, receive an error message, or need additional permissions for elevated tasks, follow the steps below.
Steps
- Send an e-mail to help@spu.edu and make sure to include the following information:
- Name(s) of computer(s) that users will need access to
- This can be found on the red login screen at the bottom
- It can also be found in the start menu, it is the word in all caps in the right-hand column
- Username(s) that will need to access the computer Relevant details (such as error messages when a user tries to logon)
- Room Location
- Name(s) of computer(s) that users will need access to
