Transfer Credit Application

All non-SPU courses require a Transfer Credit FormApplication. This form is sent directly to the AD Associate Director for Graduate Programs. The Office of the Registrar officially transfers previous coursework in through degree check. 

If courses are over 6 years old from the time of admission, they must also go through the Graduate Curriculum Committee for approval. This process requires an additional petition. If you would like to transfer coursework to SPU that is more than 6 years old, contact the Associate Director for Graduate Programs at soe-grad@spu.edu.

This form allows students who already hold a master's degree to substitute for fulfill a specific set of courses fulfilling in the Master’s Degree requirement in their SPU SOE programmaster’s degree requirement. All students are required to take EDU 6085 Moral and Theological Issues in Education. This form is sent directly to the AD Associate Director for Graduate Programs. Courses met via the Second Master’s Benefit this benefit vary by program.
