This guide is used to install Adobe Creative Cloud on SPU-managed machines. 

Steps:

  1. Remove Creative Suite 6 installation: 

    1. To safely uninstall on Mac OS X, double-click the product installer in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers or double-click the Uninstall alias located in the Application folder.

    2. Select Remove Preferences, then Authenticate as an Administrator and follow the onscreen instructions.

  2. Install package from from source$
    1. From the Finder top menu bar, select Go and Connect to Server. 
    2. Enter smb://spu.local/sysdata/distribution/source$
    3. Once connected to the server, navigate to spu.local/sysdata/distribution/source$/Adobe/Creative Cloud Mac/SPU CC_Install
    4. Double click the SPU CC_Install file and follow the onscreen instructions

 

The Adobe "Work at Home" software is distributed by http://spu.onthehub.com. Users are required to pay $9.75 for an access code they can redeem with Adobe for a one year Creative Cloud subscription. Currently, the site is configured to do only verification that the email is a spu.edu domain. They support Shib or an uploaded list of users if we want to have better enforcement of facstaff status.
