During the DNP Project Planning process students may inquire about doing a group project. The choice of completing an individual vs a group project, must be made at the onset of project planning. The AACN (2015) White Paper makes the following remarks regarding group projects, “...group projects are acceptable if they are consistent with the aims of the project...” (p. 4). Each student must be INDIVIDUALLY EVALUATED using a rubric on all elements of project development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination. Each student must have a clear leadership role on at least one set of aims/objectives. There must also be a record of each student’s contribution to the project (AACN, 2015).
