During the regular academic year (Autumn through Spring), courses are offered under a variety of “parts of term” which are defined by specific date ranges and impact registration add and drop deadlines. Consult the Academic Calendar for specific registration deadlines.

Note: the Full Term part of term is also used during Summer quarter, but it is an 8 week session. See all Summer parts of term here.

Courses that run the full 10 weeks of the academic quarter (Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring)

Extended Deadline

Courses that run the full 10 weeks of the academic quarter (Autumn, Winter, Spring) and allow registration in Banner up through the 10th day of the term

Global Seminars

Study Abroad courses run by SPU faculty

September Session

Courses that generally start in early September and run for 3 weeks

September Session + Full Term

Courses that generally start in early September and run through the end of Autumn quarter
