FAQs

A. If a department is hosting a recruiting event for prospective undergraduate or graduate students, food and drink purchases are permissible for the event so long as the department has budget dollars to cover the expense. Restricted/Reserve/Unbudgeted funds cannot be used to cover these expenses. Only purchase enough food for prospective students. Faculty/staff attending these events should not have food or drinks purchased for them.
