Technology Regulatory Compliance

Policies governing the use of Seattle Pacific University technology resources are developed by Information Technology in partnership with campus stakeholders . The purpose of these policies is to help ensure that students, faculty, staff, and other members of the SPU community have maximum access to computers and network services and are aware of the rights and responsibilities associated with computer usage.

Which Ones Apply to You?

All legal and regulatory compliance requirements apply regardless of whether you are using a university owned or managed device or a personally owned device to work with sensitive university data. Different laws, regulations, and compliance requirements apply to different types of sensitive university data. Familiarize yourself with those that apply to the data you work with.
