To Get Started: simply touch the Logitech Tap touchscreen, unlock it with passcode: 778338 (SPUEDU on the keypad), and select Start Meeting.

To Invite Users: select Invite and under the Contacts tab, type in users' emails if they have an SPU email, or send them a direct link via email under the Email tab.

...

Info

If you want to schedule the meeting and invite users ahead of time, navigate to the section below: To run the meeting on your personal SPU account.

To Share Content: you can select the Share Content button, which will provide the Sharing Key for the Zoom desktop application, as well as the browser URL for content sharing if you are using a webpage on the device you are sharing content with. You can share content with your laptop, iPhone/iPad, or the classroom PC.

...

Info

When using the Share Content function, the option to see the Gallery or Dynamic view of remote users is grayed out.

Thus, if you want to share content to remote students but still see a gallery view of remote students on the TV, you must join the meeting as a full participant. Make sure to add yourself as a co-host or host if you have turned off Share Screen for normal participants (see the Security section below). You can yourself as co/host by selecting Participants > select your user > Make Host or Make Co-Host. Then to see remote users while content sharing, you can select View from the touchscreen meeting menu and select Gallery/Dynamic view.

You can also select Gallery/Dynamic directly if you run the meeting & share content directly from your personal account, as seen in To Share Content in the section below.

To run the meeting on your personal SPU account

To Get Started: if you schedule your meeting ahead of time and invite the Zoom Room account svc_zoomroom1@spu.edu (DLMH118) or svc_zoomroom2@spu.edu (CREM202), then you can simply touch the Logitech Tap touchscreen, unlock it with passcode: 778338 (SPUEDU on the keypad), and join the meeting after you start it on your laptop, phone, or the classroom PC. You can also join the meeting from the touchscreen with Join Meeting, using the meeting ID and passcode.

...

Info

Make sure to make the Zoom Room account a co-host to control more directly from the touchscreen.

To Share Content: Share content directly from the device running the meeting.

  • By sharing content directly as a host or participant, the remote students can see the content and you have the option to display a gallery view of remote users (instead of only your content) on the TV by selecting View on the touchscreen controller and selecting Gallery/Dynamic view.

  • To display your content to the in-person students too, make sure to use the classroom PC or plug in your laptop to the HDMI and turn on the projector.

To Invite Users: If you didn’t invite all the users ahead of time, you can invite them directly from the device running the meeting, or from the touchscreen (if the Zoom Room account is joined as co-host) in the Invite section > select SPU contacts under the Contacts tab or email the Zoom link directly under the Email tab.
