Profile Pictures
Student identification information is regularly updated in Canvas from the records kept in Banner, so any changes made to a profile in Canvas are temporary and will be wiped out with 12-24 hours when Canvas and Banner resync.
Banner uses the images taken at Campus Card Services. This picture is also used for all other accounts related to SPU credentials for consistency in case of an emergency, etc. If you do not wish to have this photo displayed in Canvas, you can change your privacy settings in :
- Go to "Personal Menu".
- Click on "Privacy Settings".
- In the "Photograph" column, check mark "Public", "SPU Only", or double click to get rid of both check-marks so that neither option is selected. This makes it so that there is no image for your SPU online credentials.
- Click "Submit"
