The Continuing Education portal is a resource for educators to manage their teaching certifications. In order to log in, navigate to ce.spu.edu and click 'Login' in the upper right hand corner. If you are a teacher who is looking to register for a course, pay for clock hours or order a transcript, please select the 'Student Login', or access the portal directly.

Logging in: Determining Which Option is Right For You

The CE Login Portal works side-by-side with a system we have at SPU called Banner, and they synchronize every night at 4:00 a.m. Subsequently, there are multiple options for logging in. 

  • "I have previously taken courses through SPU"

You already have SPU login credentials with Banner. This log in option is right for you if you have previously taken courses through SPU, are alumni or had been accepted to a program at SPU in the past. If you would like to check to see if you are in Banner already, please use our recover username toolIf you believe you should already have SPU Login credentials but cannot recover your username because you have a different email account, please call the Help Desk at 206-281-2982. 

  • "I created my account earlier today"

This login option is for users who created an account through the CE Login Portal earlier today. It generates a login credentials that will be replaced by your SPU username and password once the CE Login Portal syncs with Banner.

  • "This is my first course through SPU"

This option is for users who are entirely new to the SPU community. Use the login credentials generated through this process to log in until your account is synced with Banner.
