Zoom allows for screen sharing on desktop, tablet and mobile devices running Zoom. The host and attendee can screen share by clicking on the Share Screen icon located in your meeting tool bar. Select the screen you want to share.

How do I record a meeting?
The host must record the meeting or grant a participant the ability to record. To start recording a meeting, click the Record icon on the Zoom toolbar.
You can record your Zoom meeting or webinar locally to your computer or to the cloud
Will Zoom work internationally?
Yes, Zoom works globally.
Can I join on multiple devices?
You can be signed in to Zoom on one computer, one tablet, and one phone at a time. If you sign into an additional device while logged into another device of the same type, you will be logged out automatically on the first device.
How can I join a breakout room?
The host will need to invite you to join the breakout room. Click Join. If you choose Later, you can join by clicking the Join Breakout Room option in your meeting controls. Click Join breakout room. You will have access to full controls similar to the meeting.
How can i quickly communicate with other students?
You can use Zoom chat. In your controls at the bottom window, click Chat. If you are on a mobile device, tap Participants, then Chat. The chat window will open on the right side of your screen if you are not in full screen mode.You can type your message into the chat window and press Enter to send your message.
My video is choppy or laggy
If you are experiencing any issue(s) with latency, frozen screen, poor quality audio, or meeting getting disconnected:
Check your Internet bandwidth using an online speed test, such as nperf, Speedtest, or Comparitech
Try to connect directly via Wired (if your internet router has wired ports)
Try bringing your computer or mobile device closer to the WiFi router
We recommend using secure Wifi connection for your classes!
Is it necessary to put my camera on?
Depends on your class instructor instructions and your internet bandwidth.
Do I need to install Panopto?
From a Personal Computer, the software may be downloaded by logging directly into Panopto at spu.hosted.panopto.com. You can also upload existing video and create new video with Panopto mobile app.

How to Find and View Panopto Recordings in Canvas?
Log in to Canvas and find your course that has been configured with Panopto. In the left-hand navigation pane, it may be called Panopto Video.
