Doctoral students take two comprehensive exams covering foundations and research coursework. Traditional, closed-book comprehensive exams are held once a month, on set Fridays. Closed-book Comprehensive Exams
Traditional, proctored exams are held once a month, on set Fridays. Exams will be held online via Zoom for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year. Zoom exams take place from 9:00am-1:00pm and will utilize a stagger start for multiple test-takers.

Examinees have 4 weeks to complete the exam and must sign up for the exam at least one week in advance of the next exam date. Examinees will obtain a copy of the exam from Megan Hamshar, Associate Director of Graduate Programs, on the scheduled exam date.
