Closed-book Comprehensive Exams
Traditional, proctored exams are held once a month, on set Fridays. Exams are currently held online via Zoom and take place from 9:00am-1:00pm. A stagger start will be used for multiple test-takers.Tentatively, starting in Spring quarter, exams will resume their normal schedule on campus and will take place from 8:45pm-12:45pm in the room noted in the sign-up form.
Test takers must have Microsoft Office, including Word, installed on their computers, as well as a stable internet connection (for Zoom exams). Adobe Acrobat is also recommended for Zoom exams.
Reminders are sent out one week prior to the exam. Deadline to sign up is one week in advance of the exam, and cancellations must be received at least four days in advance. Email Megan Hamshar to cancel.
Closed-book exams will no longer be held after June 2021.
