*Important Information for Health Fitness Candidates*
Currently, the Health Fitness endorsement required coursework is only available through the Summer Institute program, which means 4-6 intensive days ((Monday thru Friday, 8AM – 4PM) per course. Some courses are offered even years and the rest offered odd years, so it will take two summers to complete.
**Alternative Route to Certification for School Employee (ARCSE)* Your certificate-only program sequence uses a significant number of 5000-level courses. The program is intended to be completed with four quarters, and thus, even though the CPE system may identify a course as a longer term, you will follow the same quarter deadlines that pertain to your 6000-level courses (i.e. 5000-level summer quarter courses follow the same dates of registration and course dates as your 6000-level summer courses). You will be advised by the ARCSE coordinator on what courses to register for each quarter and provided with the CPE registration links via email.
