Active Learning Classrooms

Overview

An Active Learning Classroom is defined by its ability to allow students to engage with the AV system alongside the professor. There is a standard projector & screen, as well as multiple TV screens mounted around the room. These rooms provide the three primary inputs at the podium — laptop, podium PC, and document camera — that can be sent to all screens. However, the system also allows students to plug their personal laptop into their local TV only, OR they can also send their laptop display and audio to the rest of the screens & room speakers. The professor controls all of this functionality from the touch panel mounted on or near the instructor station.
