Record and Share a Teams Presentation/Recording from OneDrive to a Canvas Discussion (Students)

Instructions for Students
This guide explains how students can post a recorded Microsoft Teams meeting (e.g., group presentation, small group discussion, etc.) to a Canvas Discussion to receive feedback and comments.
Scenario 1: Share a recording of a student group's presentation to a Canvas discussion.

Schedule a Teams meeting
Information
For a group presentation, one designated group member should schedule the Microsoft Teams meeting and invite the rest of the group members to join. All group members should attend the meeting at the scheduled time to present together.
Open the Teams app or access Teams through your browser. (The instructions below are based on using Teams in a browser.)
Select Calendar in Teams.
Click New event
.
Toggle on the Teams Meeting button.
Add meeting details and attendees.
Select Save.
Join and record Teams meetings
After you scheduled Teams meetings and sent them out, you can see all your upcoming meetings in your Teams calendar.
Click Join to join the meeting.
Set your camera and audio settings before clicking the Join now button to enter the meeting.
Click Start recording to record the Teams meeting.
Click Stop recording after the meeting.
Change the access permissions of the recording
Your recording will be uploaded to your Teams chat [1].
Click the recording video [2].
Click Shared tab [1].
Click on the recording [2].
Click the Share button in the upper right corner.
Click Share.
Click Link settings.
Share with people in Seattle Pacific University [1].
Set the expiration date [2] and click Apply. (By default, the recording will expire after 120 days.)
Click Copy link.
Share the recording in Canvas Discussions
Navigate to the course you would like to share the recording video.
Select Discussions from the course navigation bar.
Locate the discussion thread and click Reply.
Paste the recording link to the Rich Content Editor, and click Reply.
Scenario 2 - Share a recording of an individual presentation to a Canvas discussion
In this scenario, you don’t need to invite attendees when scheduling a Teams meeting. You only need to record your own presentation during the meeting and then share the recording in Canvas Discussions. Only the first step—scheduling the meeting—is different; for the remaining steps, please follow the instructions above.
Create a Teams meeting
Open the Teams app or access Teams through your browser. (The instructions below are based on using Teams in a browser.)
Select Calendar in Teams.
Click Meeting now.
Enter a meeting name and click on Start meeting.
