Embedding a YouTube video into Panopto Recording

Overview

Embedding YouTube videos into a Panopto recording can be valuable for instructors because it allows them to enrich their lessons with high‑quality, relevant multimedia without having to recreate existing content. It keeps students focused by presenting all materials within a single, cohesive viewing environment rather than sending them to external platforms. This approach also supports different learning styles by combining the instructor’s explanation with visual and auditory examples. Overall, it helps create a more engaging, accessible, and efficient learning experience for students.
