CIS is committed to tracking call quality issues in Microsoft Teams and making improvements to the on-campus network and SPU-managed devices to ensure that Teams calls are running as smoothly as possible. Even though improvements are made on a regular basis, you may still experience call quality issues for a very small number of calls. This article covers troubleshooting suggestions that may improve your call quality.
If you experience poor quality during a call, report the issue at the end of your call. Call quality reports go to CIS and provide us with valuable data that can be used to improve service.
Update Teams on your computer to ensure that you are using the most compatible version of Teams.
When making Teams Calls from off-campus, the local network environment can still impact call quality. If you experience network issues at home, contact your Internet Service Provider.
