Overview

The goal of the nurse practitioner clinical practicum experience is to engage students in varied, quality clinical experiences in primary care settings. The expectation is that students will progress from requiring close supervision in the first practicum experience to seeing a schedule of clients independently with your support by the end of their last clinical rotation.
