You can sign up for a free account, which will grant access to Office Applications on the Web. You can also upgrade to a paid account through Microsoft to get access to Office Desktop applications.

OneDrive lets you store and protect your files, share them with others, and get to them from anywhere on all your devices. Once your access to OneDrive is removed, any files you have stored there will be lost.
