Students may require extra time to get special paperwork completed for certain classes (e.g., Independent Study, Internship), work on a special assignment (e.g., independent projects or research), audition (e.g., for certain performance groups), or set up individual instruction. For these types of courses, students are allowed to register through the 10th day of the quarter, which is identified in the University Academic Calendar.
To see if this extended registration deadline applies to a specific course, contact Student Academic Servicesthe Office of the Registrar. Courses with the extended registration deadline have until the 10th day of the quarter, at 11:59 p.m. to register online, or a deadline of 4:30 p.m. in the Student Academic Services officethe Office of the Registrar in Demaray Hall.
Registration processes for Independent Study courses must be completed with an Independent Study Agreement and cannot be accomplished over the web. Students must submit the form to SAS the Office of the Registrar through scan, email or fax to register for these classes. Internship applications are managed online through the Center for Career and Calling's s Handshake site. When an Internship application is approved online, Student Academic Services the Office of the Registrar will take care of registration for the student.
