Transfer Credit Application
All non-SPU courses require a Transfer Credit Application. This form is sent directly to the Associate Director for Graduate Programs. The Office of the Registrar officially transfers previous coursework in through degree check.
If courses are over 6 years old from the time of admission, they must also go through the Graduate Curriculum Committee for approval. This process requires an additional petition. If you would like to transfer coursework to SPU that is more than 6 years old, contact the Associate Director for Graduate Programs at soe-grad@spu.edu.
Consent to Transfer Credit Toward a Second Master’s Degree
This form allows students who already hold a master's degree to fulfill a specific set of courses in the master’s degree requirement. All students are required to take EDU 6085 Moral and Theological Issues in Education. This form is sent directly to the Associate Director for Graduate Programs. Some restrictions require courses be evaluated through a second review and approval by the Graduate Curriculum Committee. This process requires an additional petition. If your courses require this petition, the AD will contact you.
