Historically, SPU has offered cable TV programming services to on-campus residence halls and apartments. With the advent of streaming subscription services, however, the number of students using residential cable service has plummettedplummeted, making this an expensive and largely underutilized service. Beginning Summer 2022, residential TV services will no longer only be offered on campus. Persons desiring streaming in residential commons TV areas; persons desiring additional TV service should refer to the listings noted above.Through Spring quarter 2022, residential students can continue to watch TV programs on their computers, smartphones and tablets through the Comcast XFINITY on Campus IPTV service. Additionally, SmartTVs running the XFinity On Campus app, or connected to ethernet-based Roku devices may also be configured to support the XFinity IPTV service.
