Overview

It is important for students to be up to date with their grades not only for personal knowledge, but to better understand how to study for the course. Canvas offers not only a page that will allow students to view their current grades, but also their total grades. Below are instructions as for how to access such options.

Viewing Current Grade

The "Current Grade" is calculated based only on the assignments that have already been graded, according to the weight of each in the course, and does not include future assignments.

To find your Current Grade:

  1. Click on the "Grades" tab of the course navigator pane.
  2. Under the percent total grade, check mark the "Calculate based only on graded assignments" box.
