Phones on campus display the name of the calling person or department. If a name change is requested, make a ticket for Net/Tel, including the extension number and the desired new name.the display name on the phone needs to be changed, please contact the CIS HelpDesk at help@spu.edu or follow the steps below.
Steps
- Log into Web Help Desk (http://whd.spu.edu)
- Change the Request Type to Phone, Cable TV, Fax -> Campus Phone -> Display Change
- Fill out the appropriate fields
- Be sure to include the phone extension (last four digits) and the name that should be displayed on the phone

The display can fit a maximum of eleven characters. The usual naming convention for people is "LastName, FirstName" (assuming this fits) |
