What is CIS?

The Computer and Information Systems department is charged with shaping and implementing Seattle Pacific University’s enterprise technology strategy, providing tools to enable the institution to fulfill its mission of engaging the culture and changing the world.

CIS oversees the areas of enterprise software systems, servers and storage, network and telecommunications, and provides technology-related support to faculty, staff, and students through the CIS HelpDesk and CIS personnel.

CIS reports to the Office of Finance and Business Affairsthe VP for Business and Finance , however, its support role extends to all facets and departments within the university.
